Aether Sentinel – Autonomous Drone Security for Critical Infrastructure

RSS Puerto Rico Autonomous Drone Facility

Case Study – Aether Sentinel: Autonomous Infrastructure Protection

Problem: Remote infrastructure in Latin America, the Caribbean, and rural U.S. is increasingly targeted by theft, sabotage, and operational disruptions. Human security presence is costly and logistically difficult, especially in pipeline zones, refineries, or mining operations with hundreds of acres.

Opportunity: Aether Sentinel introduces a field-deployable, fully autonomous aerial system to surveil, detect, and respond to anomalies—reducing labor cost, increasing uptime, and giving operators 24/7 real-time visibility. AI-powered drone fleets operate without pilots, using computer vision, GPS fencing, and modular AI to adapt to terrain and mission.

Vision
Establish a plug-and-play, AI-first manufacturing and R&D base in Puerto Rico focused on autonomous drone production, field testing, and demonstration for industrial clients (oil, gas, mining, logistics). Long-term vision includes modular expansion, solar infrastructure, and a real-world AI drone racing circuit (Sentry Mode) to double as a training and PR platform.

Phase 1 – Immediate Operations (0–12 Months)

·       Location: Lease a light-industrial facility (3,000–8,000 ft²) in Mayagüez or Aguadilla

·       Functions: Assembly, packaging, basic testing, video content creation, inventory management

·       Setup Cost Estimate: ~$56,000 (initial CapEx), $16,350/month in OpEx

·       Objective: Begin production, demonstrate traction, prepare investor showcase

Phase 2 – Land Acquisition + Modular Campus (6–18 Months)

·       Location: Acquire 10–25 acres in Rincón or nearby (e.g., Añasco) with road access

·       Construction: Build 4,000 ft² modular facility + solar system + on-site water/septic

·       Use: Secure facility for R&D, showcase zone, autonomous test range

·       CapEx Estimate: ~$1.36M

Execution Plan:

·       CapEx + OpEx Budget:

o   Phase 1: $56,000 setup + $16,350/month burn (includes 2 staff, rent, insurance, tools)

o   Phase 2: $1.36M capital investment for land, site work, modular construction, and solar

·       Revenue Goal: $500K–$1M within 12 months post-launch via pilot contracts and licensing to global industrial clients

·       Pilot Targets: Oil pipelines (PEMEX, Ecopetrol), ports and terminals, inland mining perimeters

Strategic Benefits

·       Tap into Act 60 for 4% tax rate, exemptions on property and capital gains

·       Near UPR Mayagüez for engineering talent

·       PRIDCO + local grants potential

·       Competitive base to scale manufacturing across the U.S. East Coast & LATAM

Call to Action
We are currently evaluating light-industrial sites for Phase 1 and preparing land acquisition strategy for Phase 2. Interested investors, landowners, or local development agencies are invited to participate in a strategic partnership.
