Ravelo Strategic Solutions LLC (RSS) is an SBA-certified Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) providing advisory and hands-on implementation for banks, non-bank financial institutions, and exchanges across the U.S. and Latin America. We focus on the operational core of financial services — client lifecycle, onboarding, settlement, and treasury — and we measure our work by what ships, not what gets presented.
Our founder
Bill Ravelo founded Ravelo Strategic Solutions in 2021.
Twenty-three years in the U.S. Army, retired as a Master Sergeant, ten deployments. Then six and a half years at Bank of America running a $40 billion Latin America book across custody, payments and liquidity, including nine months as interim regional head. Then a $15.8 billion CLO book at Computershare.
He built this practice the way he ran the book — originated it, priced it, delivered it, and carried the cost base himself. That is where the advice comes from. The plan, the expense base, the headcount case and the operating cadence, from someone who has owned all four rather than advised on them.
The work here is operational rather than promotional. Clients get the person who does it.

How we work
We take a small number of engagements and stay hands-on from diagnosis through delivery. That means the person who scoped the work is the person who does it, and the engagement is not finished when the recommendation is delivered. It is finished when the thing runs.
Engagements are priced against the decision they support, not against hours. Where we cannot add something a client does not already have, we say so.
