Ravelo Strategic Solutions LLC (RSS) is an SBA-certified Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) providing advisory and hands-on implementation for banks, non-bank financial institutions, and exchanges across the U.S. and Latin America. We focus on the operational core of financial services — client lifecycle, onboarding, settlement, and treasury — and we measure our work by what ships, not what gets presented.
Our founder
RSS was founded by Guillermo “Bill” Ravelo, an institutional client coverage executive with more than a decade across global capital markets. As a Vice President at Bank of America Global Banking & Markets, Bill led coverage of a $40B AUA LATAM institutional book — tier-1 asset managers, sovereigns, and payments corporates — and served as Acting Head of Region for LATAM custody, IPA, and escrow products, delivering 12% year-over-year portfolio growth and $8.7M in run-rate revenue expansion. Most recently he managed a $15.8B CLO and ABS relationship book in structured-finance asset services, directing escalation resolution and end-to-end mandate implementations.
Before finance, Bill served 23 years in U.S. Army Special Operations with the 75th Ranger Regiment, retiring as a Master Sergeant after 10 combat deployments — earning five Bronze Stars and leading a 200-person multi-domain organization with a $15M annual technology procurement program.
Bill is a Dean’s Fellowship Scholar at Columbia University, where he is completing an M.S. in Technology Management, with additional credentials in digital assets and blockchain (Wharton), agile delivery (Scrum Alliance, Scrum.org), and data analytics. He is a native Spanish speaker.
How we work
We take on a small number of engagements and stay hands-on from diagnosis through delivery. Military discipline, banker’s judgment, and an operator’s bias for action — that is the RSS difference.
